WHAT TO EXPECT
Initial Spinal Flow Appointment & Assessment
An initial Health Intake Form will be sent to you to complete before your first appointment. At your appointment, your Spinal Flow Practioner will complete an assessment on the following:
Your posture
Identify blockages through simple head and body movements
Identify blockages through gentle palpation of your spine to determine where blockages are and whether they are physical, chemical, or emotional blockages
Your practioner will review the intake form and assessments with you, and will then review what treatment plan is right for you. Please allow up to 60 minutes for the Initial assessment appointment.
Ongoing Appointments
Please allow 30 minutes for the regular Spinal Flow sessions.
Group Appointments
Groups of 2 people can be in a session at the same time (after the inital assessment has been completed).
The healing energy of a group of people reconnecting with their bodies is amazing!
Reassessments
After 10-12 Spinal Flow sessions (to be deterrmined with yourself and the practitioner), a reassessment will be completed to show the healing changes of your body. Please allow up to 45 minutes for the reassessment and Spinal Flow Session.
What to wear
All Spinal Flow sessions are performed fully clothed.
Loose fitting clothing is preferable. Please no jeans, spandex, or leggings.
How to Prepare for your Sessions
These sessions allow you to reconnect with your body.
It is always good to stay hydrated. Be sure to drink water before and after sessions.
What does a Spinal Flow Session feel like
Every body is different and every person feels differently throughout the sessions.
Some people will cry. Some people laugh or scream. Some people move. Some people are very still.
Each reaction is a normal release and you are in a safe space to express yourself however you feel necessary.
Who is Spinal Flow for
Spinal Flow is safe for all ages - from newborns to any age.
Spinal Flow can be done on any body - if you are pregnant, have pain, have nerve conditions (eg fibromyalgia), have stress, have trauma, get migraines, have digestive issues …
Spinal Flow is non-invasive and there is no manipulation of the spine or muscles.
